“It’s not how much we give but how much love we put into giving.”–Mother Teresa>

No one can put it more eloquently than the most admirable ‘woman on the move’, Mother Teresa. Support of community and giving back is a root that runs deep for Ginger & Mary Ann Clothing Co. . Giving can happen in countless different ways, ideas, and efforts. From sourcing our fabric from the finest, eco-friendly materials, to seeking local resources, to offering assistance to less fortunate communities, to helping create jobs and opportunities for disadvantaged women; all the while supporting individuals who believe in doing the same. Giving is a beautiful circle of love…and that’s not just around Valentine’s Day.

Smiles all around from Team Ginger and Mary Ann at the Cupid’s Undie Run

For some, stripping down to your skivvies and heading out on a brisk morning jog could seem like a nightmare. But add in hundreds of our closest friends (also in their undies) and a great cause, and we’re all about it! The Cupid’s Undie Run is a fun run that travels all across the United States raising money and awareness for The Children’s Tumor Foundation. $5 million has been raised by the charity to date, and they hope to match that in 2015. This last Valentine’s Day weekend, Ginger & Mary Ann Clothing Co. gathered a superstar team of men and women who happily rocked their delicates for the cause.

Despite chilly, winter temps, our crew showed up ready to rock and roll. We joined hundreds of other skin baring runners and flooded the streets of downtown Boise. Love was definitely in the air as we hit the pavement, and continued all weekend.

“I’ve known the Cupid’s Undie Run organizer, Hayley Brown, since high school. She is an incredibly passionate person who has dedicated herself to finding a cure for NF, a disease that her daughter Nora was born with. Hayley has an amazing attitude and spirit, and her sense of fun and humor rub off on everyone. I’m normally not the kind of person who would do a fun run, let alone in my underwear in February–but somehow Hayley’s passion is contagious. It didn’t hurt that it was the most beautiful February day EVER–and actually felt GOOD outside! It was such a blast, and feels great to raise money to help Hayley find a cure for her daughter.”–Chelsea Snow, Team Ginger & Mary Ann Clothing Co.

To that end, it’s not just undies and cupids that get Ginger & Mary Ann Clothing Co. excited to give back. We continue to strive to build sustainable relationships with several charitable organizations, locally and internationally.
